Oh hey Obama

This last week my mom and sisters got to come visit us!! Kyle and I were SO excited to see them!! We hadn't seen them for almost 3 months now..which is a pretty long time for me since I only lived 26 miles away from home when Kyle and I were at college. I think after this trip Kyle has expressed to me even more how much he NEEDS a son. I thought by now he would be used to all the clothes on the ground from trying on every possible combination of an outfit trying to find the perfect one, or the phrase, "I have nothing to wear while surrounded by mounds of clothes, and the number one phrase a girl says, "I hate my hair." Now take all of that and multiply it by 3 with all 5 of us confined to our small apartment. Kyle always says we are going to have all boys, but i know secretly he wants little girls:) The first day we went and explored D.C and this lady hooked us up with tickets to go inside the Washington Monument

It was super cool to go up there and see all of DC!!! It also felt nice to be in a building that was air conditioned since it was 114 degrees with the heat index!! Kyle had to work the first day that we were in DC so we went to all of the areas where Kyle and I had already visited.  Our next stop was the Lincoln Memorial with some stops in between.

The Lincoln Memorial is AWESOME!! One of the coolest things that I have ever seen!! We have been blessed to have had so many great leaders for our country.  Next was the White House:)

Next Stop: ARLINGTON CEMETERY

It was so fun to have them with us, even if it was only for a couple of days!! We had so much fun and Kyle and I are so thankful for the great people my mom, Nicole, and Ashlee are!! You guys are amazing people and we love you very much!!

This past weekend we got to take a Moxie trip to the beach!! We went to Rohoboth Beach in Delaware!! It was SOO fun!! The trip, however, started out kind of rough. When we got to the beach i realized that our memory card was at home in our laptop, i was missing one of my flip flops, and all my hair ties had disappeared!!! Kyle, being the cutest husband ever, went to all the stores on the boardwalk searching for hair ties, flip flops, and a memory card..and came back with all 3...i LOVE this boy! The memory card was much needed too because i ended up taking 700 pictures in just one day!!  It was so nice to relax after a long week of work! We boogie boarded, played in the water, ate a TON of junk food, and wrote cute cheesey things in the sand as you can see from the picture above. It was fun to be with everyone but I was just excited to spend the whole day with my sweetie pie! There's something about the beach that just makes it so romantic; the sand between your toes, the salty smell of the ocean, that light ocean breeze, the view, and not to mention sharing all that with this hunk! :)

Kyle went out to boogie board with some of the Moxie boys and when he came back he had this!
It was way worse than this when he first came out of the water and i thought he had been attacked by a shark...i guess we shouldn't have watched soul surfer before we went to the beach! Anyways my mom instinct turned on and i didn't let him go back out in the water for at least a half hour!

Let's just say he was excited to get back into the water! Here are some pics from the trip!

The Boys!

You Make My Heart Melt Like a Popsicle on the Fourth of July

October 16, 2010 was the BEST day of my life.  I got to marry my best friend:)  We've been blessed to experience so much at just 9 months!! We have lived in 3 states so far and in a few months we get to move to the place where we shared our first week together as a married couple...HAWAII:) I cannot wait for this new adventure! We currently live in VA and LOVE it!! It's so GREEN and there is so much to see and do!!
For the Fourth of July we were able to have Kyle's brother and our sister-in-law in town!!
Matt & Julie:)

This was a self timer picture...pretty impressive huh?! :)

We had so much fun, and were able to watch the fireworks in DC!! We sat right at Arlington Bridge across from the water, Lincoln Memorial, and the Washington Monument...Can you say COOL?!  We are so blessed to live in such an amazing country! God Bless America!
WOW!!
